Please note that due to size/weight - Collection from North London only - Sorry - no trades and guitar pictured not included.

Needing to downsize from large property to smaller home. Offering my Matamp Series 2000, (matching Amp/Reverb/Cabinet) stack ... Not only is it hand wired - also completely hand made, (head cabinets made from top-grade birch ply, aluminium chassis, etc.,) during 2010 for me as original owner.

In really excellent condition, home use only, (small 1cm 'touched-in' nick to speaker cabinet vinyl covering at side) and recently professionally serviced by Electrohill 9/11/16 so that I know all is fine for the future owner ... Rare and tasteful piece of kit with incredible clean and 60's British blues boom tones.

The reissue Series 2000 Anniversary model was limited to a run of just 60 units a few years ago by the friendly guys at Matamp in tribute to Mat Mathias. Each numbered #1945 - # 2005, (this one is serial # 2003) ... In the early 60's, Mat Mathias, (aka 'The Radio Doctor') built his original Matamp Series 2000 model, which is believed the studio amp, reverb and cabinet used for the classic tone made famous by Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac on their classic "Albatross" recording ... Not just that of course and a decent player can really capture 'that sound' with this amp plus other haunting-sounding Peter Green tracks like "I Loved Another Woman", etc.,

Head:- Point to point hand wired - 35 watts RMS - 2 x EL34's in cathode bias - Valve rectified - Great overtones and nice compression.

Reverb unit:- Matching valve reverb.

Cabinet: (vinyl covered chipboard) - 2 x 12- 200 watts RMS - Loaded with custom made Celestion G12T-100's with extra doping to make it sound exactly like the original Fane's.

Matamp labeled, (IMG FS-100 Stage-Line) reverb foot-switch.

20 watts clean (Matamp rating) and probably close to 40 watts when drives engaged.

Would cost over £2,000 if built today ... With that price being from Matamp direct and without added dealer or distributer margin!
