Yeh, got posted on here at the time but then withdrawn off amazon (it's back!). This is the first time I've seen an explanation of the Mash feature although it still doesn't say if/how it's assignable. Still, assuming it works well a Flashback 2 with it would be within my scope of interest.

I guess it's assignable through the Tone Print Editor.

I guess and, hopefully, you can do interesting things with it. If they can do it with the HOF pretty sure there will be a Flashback/ Alter Ego version.

Seems to indicate that it's just for the shimmer. Big whup, if you can assign it that would be much, much, much betterer.

Seem to have done this well. I quite fancy this although a Flashback with Mash ( surely just a matter of time) would suit my purposes betterer.

I think I'll be getting one of these, the original HoF was great, but had a couple of useless presets (Gate and Ambient) which they have sensibly removed from version 2. The new shimmer is very welcome, as are the 3 Toneprint memory slots)

Wonder how long the Mash switch will last in real-world use though?

I'll be getting one, too. So far I've not been able to ascertain release date or price.

Some really interesting features on this. I agree that it's very likely the rest of the range will get similar enhancements.
    Reliability is the question mark...

It's quite a short video. The foot switch acts as a pressure sensitive expression pedal. You can change what it does in the tone print editor.
The HOF 2 also has some kind of super shimmer reverb, the effect the rest of us are now starting to get a bit sick of.

I think I would enjoy it for some ambient noodling. For a day or two.

The best features for me are the MASH controller and 3 tone print slots.
