(SOLD) FS: Brand new Lazy J20 c/w VAC and Rev

Ok guys I have given this enough time now and its a great amp but I know I'm not a tweed guy - more a Marshall guy.

For sale is a two week old Lazy J20 combo with VAC and Reverb.

I have both sets of valves: the 6L6 (installed) and 6v6 and corresponding rectifier valves that Jesse recommends. It has the Celestion blue speaker & comes with the foot pedal to control the reverb.

This is a great chance for someone to jump the queue and get a brand new J20 with both sets of tubes for less than a new one. Comes in the original substantial packaging sent out by Jesse. £2150 inc delivery. Not looking for trades on this one.

No trem. I will get a price too. I'm thinking to let it go this soon it won't be much less than the new price. Essentially you would be bypassing the waiting period. Otherwise I will just keep it a little longer to see how I get on.

Ok so I have decided I will sell it. Will let it go for £2100 including shipping. Brand new amp one week old. I will post it in the original packaging which is substantial.

Tell us man, why are you really selling a one week old lazy j. I mean, you must have waited a long time for this baby and then it's up for sale within a week of getting it.
I've heard of people not gelling with their gear, but you haven't even give this a chance.
What's wrong with it?

I live remotely so I don't get the chance to try out a lot of these amps. Buying from the big retailers means I can send it back if I don't like it. Unfortunately, I can't do that with the J20, but still felt it was worth the punt. As I explained earlier, I realise that I probably haven't given it a chance, but then again I generally know if I'm going to like something. I don't think tweed is for me though. I tend to like amps with more gain, like the friedman Dirty Shirley but thought I would give the J20 a go.

Either the owner didn't find it wowed him as much as he hoped OR he has had a reality check and figured he can't justify keeping it

Lol Dominic. After thinking long and hard about it, I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt!

^^ Indeed not.  And to alay any misgivings, I have dealt with Ian (he bought my guitar) and he's a very straight, genuine person to deal with.

Beautiful looking amp btw. Great for anyone wanting to avoid the lengthy wait to get hold of one.
