Wow. Just totally out of the blue. Soundgarden were one of the best heavy rock bands of the 90s. His voice was like a gift from the heavens and was a fantastic musician. Legit one of the greatest vocalists in the history of rock music.

Badmotorfinger is going on mothertruckers. Just glad I got to see them live a couple of years back and he still sounded phenomenal then. Was a proper charming gent as well. Soon there will be no more grunge vocalists left at this rate. Damn.

I couldn't believe it when I saw the headline either. 
Soundgarden were one of the bands that got me into heavy music- Chris's amazing voice was one of the reasons I like them so much....
