Just caught about 30 minutes of the Billboard Music Awards (by accident)(really).  After several techno/too many dancers/uber pop acts Ed Sheeran came out with just an acoustic guitar, no band, and killed it compared to everything that came on before him.  New respect, now, time to change the channel.

    I like some of his songs but I've said all along that anyone who can hold an audience attention when he's on stage alone is quite a talent. He's managed it on some of the highest stages in the world, even after all that he seems like a nice guy who loves music.

    His use of multiple live loops is quite brilliant and must occupy some memory space while he plays and sings.
