Atkin Guitars.

Anybody have any experience of Atkin guitars, especially the smaller bodied models.

I've had one of Alister's guitars, an OM28H Retrospective, for 4 or 5 years and it's my primary guitar for acoustic gigs. Excellently built and lovely tone. Better than the Santa Cruz I previously owned.

I've also tried some of his other guitars including the smaller bodied L1 type which stood up well against a friend's Gibson original.

Jimbro thanks for the reply, I do like the look of the Atkin smaller bodied guitars. The reason for my query is that I am looking to have a 00 size guitar built.  Getting the scale length, nut width, string spacing and neck shape I require is proving to be difficult. So it is the custom route. I do have a custom Brook, which I am really pleased with but would like to have a look at other builders. Cheers.
