NAD Redplate & NCD Zilla

Finally got round to posting this.

Redplate RP50R brought from @Haz who was great to deal with. Blackface and tweed with drive and boost with lots of tone shaping options. Just incredible.

Zilla Modern 2x12 with a G12M Creamback and G12 Creamback. Great service and a very high standard from Paul@Zilla. Had a few niggles but Paul instantly sort them. Highly recommended.

Very happy bunny now and amp GAS has been pretty much quenched.

Try clicking off the bass to bypass the stack - wowzers !!! I reckon its the one single amp I could use live with no effects.

I truly love mine, and waited forever to find one; and Paul built me a Zilla too. Gorgeous amp and gorgeous cab.

Nice, glad I never sold my Redplate now, they sound so good in any situation.

@Winny_Pooh yes I sent over pics to Paul and he matched it pretty much perfectly, even down to the piping.

@clarkefan Got feet on the bottom and the side, pretty handy.

Great amps, I got used to my Blackverb sound and got a bit bored ( I thought). Tried a Mesa Nomad 55 and thought it was great, got it home and A/B'd it with the RP, that's when I realised how great the Blackverb was. GAS is a terrible thing, you can make mistakes....not me though this time.

I am lucky enough to own an Aurora 34 head (black tolex) which is brilliant - a lot of tweaking options, and very similar layout to the RP's. 3CH beast with boost option, but I love the bypass tones and also defeat the presence control to get that natural growl when set to stun in CH3. Very versatile
