Oil City pickups ... sneaky peek at our new pickup test and demo guitar

We have needed a dedicated test and demo guitar here for a while, and with Oil City exhibiting at one, or perhaps more guitar shows in 2018, a new beast joins our lineup ... the name on the headstock should say it all ... excuse the dust in the pic, she has been in my workshop for a while being tweaked ... shortly you'll be seeing full pics of the newly christened 'Red Terror' ...

It is heavily customised now ... pics soon ... 
The nut is an Earvana one ... and means this strat plays more in tune, than any I have ever played before. I'm a convert! :-)

It is now sporting a red finish, transparent red scratchplates so the wiring can be seen ... and has been routed to take humbuckers as well as single coils in the neck position :-)

Shortly lol ... I have a ton of custom work and rewinds to sort ... plus I am sorting out hosting my pickup rebuild articles etc on my own site ... because of the Photobucket issue ... on my to do list.
