Bass - Smooth Fingerstyle (Guy Pratt)

This probably seems basic to most but as someone who's still finding it difficult to get a smooth, fluid and strong fingerstyle on bass and still employs a pick and fingers (hybrid style), I really like this close up video by Guy Pratt (Pink Floyd and others).

I definitely need to build my finger strength up and even though I can finger pick on guitar, it's different when it comes to bass and using straight fingers.

I'm a pretty unorthodox bassist anyway as I employ the John Entwistle tapping approach but still get a nice, smooth slap sound.

Anyone here know of any other decent YT vids out there or exercises to assist with this?
