Also a big fan, if you are going to own two plugins then you could do worse than to make it Pro Q (eq) and Pro-C (comp).

My basic plugin chain on any new channel pulls up Pro Q2 and Pro C2.

They're just very well thought out and usable. Plus you don't have to faff with iLoks or Waves licensing crap if you want to install and use on more than one setup.

The whole range is pretty excellent, but those 2 are the ones I'd get first.
