Was never the biggest fan of Linkin Park, but Hybrid Theory holds a special place for a lot of people around my age. Really sad, he was a very talented man.

Hybrid Theory was a phenomenal album every song on it was a hit! What sad news. Anyone know the root cause? Depression maybe?

He was such a good singer and whilst the band's output was a bit hit and miss the good stuff was really up there

Depression and mental health issues aren't often visible to anyone bar the person suffering from them. Certainly people I've known (including myself) who had depression did not appear depressed to even those close to them.

True. Same here and despite what people say about it being a selfish act, somebody in that position just wants the pain to stop. RIP to him, 41 is no age at all.

Heard about it an hour ago.  Absolutely gutting as I really did enjoy Linkin Park's music and their debut album I think I played it until I wore out the disc!  Really helped me in my "yoof".  He will be missed.
