I find the pickup placement on the SE Kestrel off-putting.

I keep thinking about possibly buying a pre-owned SE Kingfisher but nobody seems to be selling them on. This suggests either that they are too good to let go or not good enough to purchase from new in the first instance.

Or not enough advertising - I didn't even know they existed!

I don't know if this will work for you as it's been modded but on Monday, a guy put up for sale a PRS Kingfisher in Scarlett for £450. The mods are a Hipshot Bass Extender, Seymour Duncan Bassline pickups and CTS pots.

It's on FB group Bass Players Sell-Buy-Swap-UK Only. It's a closed group so request to join if interested and he's based in the Northwest
