Does this actually record 4 separate tracks onto SD card?

Could you import those tracks into another Daw to remix?

Yes. When run in stereo mode, say all 4 inputs have xlr'/jacks plugged in, it would record 2 x files, each with a separate left and right for each input. Make sense?
