Novation Automap 4.10 and Sonar Platinum

Anyone any experience of using these together?

Got a Novation Impulse 61, that claims to be compatible with any DAW via the Automap software it comes with. Supposedly allowing you to control your DAW and VSTs.

Well all I can say post installation is MY ARSE. Bots of the transport work, the basic midi controller works, but no VSTs can be operated with it, and I routed them all in, through the install.

any help gratefully received, or its going back to swap for a Roland.
