Midboost pedal - Any ideas?

I have been looking for a mid boost pedal (ala clapton) rather than retrofitting into a guitar any ideas?

If u want a boost that doesn't add distortion, I heartily recommend the source audio EQ pedal. It's programmable so it can do alot more than just mid boost.

I have one at my feet as we speak!  Very good pedal indeed and would recommend as a mid boost.

It would be great if someone could come out with a pedal that has the Clapton circuit board installed. I saw a prototype once, sure it was SIB that had one mocked up.

Any reason why you wouldn't use an EQ pedal? You can boost or remove any frequencies you want.

If all you want is a mod boost, then you could get a graphic EQ pedal and find the sound you like.

An EQ would probably be best for this, as I think the actual Clapton boost can sound a little crude and flubby imo. 
The Demeter Fat Control is wicked, worth looking at if you want a one knobber.

Parametric EQ would be better so you can boost the frequency range you want, rather than the crude fixed ranges of a graphic.

I thought that was why people used Tubescreamers - a mid boost with a slight bass cut to prevent flubbage.
