Sons of famous fathers.

Been listening to Lukas Nelson and Promise of the real new album. 
Growing on me with every play, so much so that I have played some of the songs on repeat as they just hit me so much. And the guy can play guitar that's for sure. 
If Willie ever dies his son is ready to take over. 
How many other famous offspring are that good?

There's certainly no shortage of them; Julian Lennon, Dhani Harrison, Zak Starkey, Sting's son (who's name escapes me), Teddy Thompson, etc.

No sure how good they are....

Teddy Thompson, is great saw him live on a solos acoustic show years ago. Superb, also a brilliant producer.

I really thought you must have meant Michael - son of Kirk - Douglas (Michael Douglas being Michael Keaton's real name).

Steve Howe's son Dylan is a very good drummer. Plays with Wilko Johnson and The Blockheads. 

Mickey Jones' son George is a great guitarist too.

Bucky Pizzarelli's son John is pretty handy with the 7 string archtop.

This is the son of Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden on vocals. He looks a lot like him... doesn't sound much like him though.



Fun fact - this band's shred-master lead guitarist was my guitar teacher for a couple of years.

Duncan Jones, son of David Bowie, has turned out to be a pretty decent film director.

Steve, son of Barry, Gibb has played guitar or bass with the likes of Crowbar, Black Label Society, Nikki Sixx and... Olivia Newton John.
