Reverb.com; a little privacy please.

It's automated. I've had that exact same message myself. I dont mind dealing through reverb when people make offers. The fees are acceptable for the service they offer. Ebay is a different story - sky high fees for a crappy service.

I always respond by saying " Sorry I can't understand:I don't speak American"

Without Mr Gassy disclosing specifically what he was looking at on that other site, someone here sees the thread, guesses what its all about and then reaches out to him to tell him where there's a better option available.

They keep taking my listings down cos they  constantly change their T&Cs/criteria every 5 mins and you have to jump through hoops to get back up. Very controlling outfit...

The Patch cables deal was good though.

I refuse to entertain it ......it's so ridiculous .....what I do so as not to be obviously rude is approach it in the faux naive Lois Theroux style ....I keep smiling and keep on saying " sorry if I'm being a bit slow but what does that mean ? "
  After the third painful explanation they stop talking this gibberish ..........funny that !

Good tactic mate. I will try that. Got a meeting soon, where I know all this will be spoken. That fella though, he was the best I've seen in years. Massive poseurs

There is a lot of bullshit around but some examples are useful.  "Low-hanging fruit" is just an analogy like any other.
