WTB: Tele blackguard bakelite aged pickguard

Absolutely.

There will be a pinky finger wear patch(es) and a glossier patch running under the string path.

The ones on ebay are over 40 quid. Branded ones are 70ish. They don't actually look aged to me, they have the large blotchy spots of unfinished phenolic. WD sheets come finally sanded, so they lose that look. Hmm.

I'll have to work out the time vs profit before deciding on a price. 

Here's a pic of one I've just done. This one shows the finger pad wear, some will have larger areas. I might soften the edges on this one just a tad. 




Hard to photo with my iphone but the area under the string path is slightly glossier, but not uniform, and with some scratches. Otherwise it looks corny.

I also do aged slot head screw kits.

That guard looks great.
Just had a go at spraying mine for the first time. Need to wait for a while before shining up.
