    A bit of 80's rock style

    The great thing about this thread - nobody in an original band will miss an opportunity to spam their stuff  =)

    And I am no exception.

    This is probably the song that goes down best for us;

    This is probably the song that best epitomises our pathetic attempts to merge prog and pop sensibilities;

    And this is probably our best produced video;

    Me and @Bridgehouse play in this band - I like this clip because Chris starts off with the capo on the wrong fret and doesn't realise til he starts playing on the 2nd verse, then has to adjust whilst he's singing!

    Don't have an on-line presence but - yes. My wife is a singer singer writer and great finger picker and rhythm player. Only in the last couple of years have I started coming up with original songs myself, but I leave the top melody and lyrics to her. Can't explain what we sound like - pop, rock, rockabilly, reggae, torch song, folk, alternative stuff. If we get paid to do a gig as a cover band then we always change our name!
    And agreed - some great stuff posted above.

    As far as I can tell, all the members of our little band are original.  Well all except me that is, I have a prosthetic leg so I am slightly over 90% original.  And most of us are slightly deaf, and two of us wear glasses, not too bad but....... Does that count?

  • I ain't. I did play in my own (partly originals band) and in someone else's completely originals band, but I learned later that the people who had the skills I needed to make up a band doing what I wanted them to do were already making good money working for someone else. There were others who had some interest but nowhere near the skills.
