  • I might get pics up later, but I'm on a:

    Ds-2
    Df-2
    Juansolo dual band cmos overdrive

I sometimes use an od2r or sd1. I want an ad-2 as it would cover a lot of ground in one box.

I'm sure the OP is absolutely furious at the very slight deviations from the thread title. Maybe if he were to amend it, the world will return to spinning on its axis, and I and many others will sleep soundly tonight. :)

I spent a long time using a fuzz as an overdrive. Works really, really well.

I'e used skreddy lunar module mini, boss fz2 and a fairfield 4 eyes.

Have the amp slightly broken clean. Step on fuzz.  Sings.

Same way I use an OD.

When you've got a spare minute i have a pile of poo that needs the peanuts picking out of it...
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Shea Butter Soap Drive, built as a bit of a joke mainly using opamp and passive components from a broken computer speaker. It's a Tubescreamer with a few mods. The idea was to prove how simple most overdrive circuits are and how cheaply you can build them, with this one coming in at less than a tenner.
Once the joke wore off though I kept using and still use now it because it sounds great into a Fender HRD
