I just didn’t think the other players were that great to be honest.

This just goes to show how important a good drummer is. This is quite a different example, but when Nikki Lane performed Walk Of Shame on KEXP, she had a great drummer and the beat was really tight, it wasn't quite the same live, with a slightly worse drummer.

Lucky you, eh? Never to have heard a thousand hopefuls murder that song with their poor technique and massive egos. It's a perfectly decent version, works well with the chilled out vibe of the cafe or whatever they're playing in.  

I enjoyed it. I'm humble enough to accept there's one or two little licks I might want to steal in there. For those already awesome guitarists with nothing to learn, we salute you.

We don't all have to like the same thing.  Oz can be a bit of an aquired taste....I just like his playing.

My first impression was that something good happened when the bass and drummer started to play.  Before that the guitarist was noodling away aimlessly and getting nowhere......

yes worst, my bad english. maybe it suited the cafe vibe and maybe i would have appreciated it more if i were (was ?) there but i appreciate the guys technical ability but to me it sounded dead, without emotion and having heard plenty of versions of it that I really like its my opinion thats its not a good version.
