Les Paul refin

hi all,

Im refinishing a Les Paul studio... the headstock currently has the satin finish with what’s looks like a screen printed gold Gibson logo.

If I spray a clear coat over this is the logo going to melt with the solvent in the nitro clear?

Just spray light coats. If you spray heavily and your lacquer sags then it may distort the logo but light coats should be fine.

A few light coats have done the trick!... will soon empty a few cans of clear on it
