  • I absolutely LOVE it! Great build quality, fantastic warm vibrato. It's such a cool effect.

  • It's really good, well built, excellent sound. One problem for me: it doesn't go slow enough. For most guitarists, it's not a problem but for saddos like me obsessed with those warbly slow Boards of Canada sounds, it didn't quite do it. The CE-3 on the other hand does it for a lot less cashola.

Cheers @Heartfeltdawn slow vibe is where it's at for me. So this might not work... have to go to a store and try.

  • Definitely try it first. That little Behringer VB2 clone had the same problem, just not slow enough.

The md500 might be worth a look?
You get slow vibrato on that plush a shedload of other noises
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Normally I'd agree. But just going for simple at the moment. Small board with limited options.
