In fact, half the forum’s probably owned one multiple times, but I can now say I *do* see what all the hoo-hah was about. This pedal is right up my straße.
It’s like someone has gone through the list of all the minor things I’d change about the Boss Space Echo (which I do love and am likely to still keep) - proper implementation of tap tempo to include subdivisions and multi, choice of bypass, full control over virtual tape and motor being the principal things. 
I imagine the favourite switch will also be quite useful in a live situation.

What a genuinely fun and inspiring bit of kit.

My favourite tape delay, I’ve never had anything like it since...wish I could get closer with my current setup but I can’t, it’s a top, top pedal.

Agreed! My el cap and carbon copy are the only delays I kept after going fractal ax8. Would love to replace the carbon copy with the new deluxe model as well..

I'm thinking of going back to one of these one day. I love my timeline but don't use most of it so feels a bit wastfull. I found I used all of the el caps offerings when I had one
