EZKeys.

Excuse my ignorance, I'm new to all this. I want to make backing tracks that I can play along to in Garageband. I've just bought Addictive Drums 2 which will give me all the drum tools I need - so that's White Stripes stuff sorted.

What I need now is something like EZKeys so that I can add a chord progression. EZkeys is great - I just don't fancy spending as much as that right now - are there any cheaper alternatives that would plug in to garageband?

Are you running GB in a computer or the iOS version on an iPad? The tablet version should have some aids to "one-finger" keyboard playing built in.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

Cheers Mark - lots of pianos bought and paid for.

Experts on GarageBand please tell me why, when I put a few chords together with a Fender Rhodes on EZkeys the file I transfer to GragaeBand ends up played by the GB Steinway Grand? Likewise the drum track I compose in AD 2 gets played by a GB drum kit when I transfer it over. What am I doing wrong?
