NPsD: A trio of TC minis.

I have been getting a board together, to play heavy rock/space/prog/metal.
I already had a Blackstar HT-Dual, for mild crunch and heavy distortion.
A TC Electronic Mini Shaker, for a fast, rotary sound.
And a TC Mini Spark, for boost and a little sparkle.
I wanted to add a Flanger, an Octaver and a Digital Delay.
I looked into a multitude of possibilities.
Including getting an EHX Epitome, again.
But decided to stick with my old favourites, TC Electronic.
I've always been impressed with their build quality, sound and very smooth switching.
And of course, they are true bypass.

They arrived from Gear4Music, this afternoon.
I don't like to fiddle with pedals, I get one good sound from them and just have them on or off.
Ihe Sub N Up (Octaver), I have the Dry on full, the sub octave on half and the up octave on a 1/4.
Sounds really good on clean and full on distortion.
The tracking is excellent and you don't get the wobble that EHX's Micro POG gets.
I use the Vortex Flanger for that sweeping Jet Flange.
And it does it really well.
Sounds amazing in conjunction with the heavy distortion and octaver.
The Flashback is a really good quality, digital delay.
I use it with around a 3/4 second delay, with multiple repeats that fade reasonably quickly.
Superb for long notes and atmospheric picking.
Yes, I'm very pleased with these great little pedals.
Their one design fault is having the power cable socket on the side.
Certainly doesn't help, with space saving, horizontally.

Other than that, these are superb to use and hear.
