The Sherwood Green Strat body is buffed and ready to go. Need to get some proper pictures though. I think it would be hard to find a nicer basis for a 60s Strat build than this!

You've made a very good decision there by putting up finished photos of the Sherwood Green body, as the original ones look like a totally different colour to me. Beautiful work there, sir, and good luck with the sale :-)

Hopefully I can get some more good pictures in natural light later too as it does change a lot in sunlight and artificial light as these metallics often do!

I think we always take a bit of a plunge when we buy metallics from a photo, as they are so very hard to capture. It's a risk, but if there's a range of photos it's possible to imagine the real thing I think.

Obviously that worked as Tahitian Coral body sold on Reverb today for full price. Cheered me up, as it's never good starting a new year with an empty bank account!

Adding an OTM Tele body to the mix - all my other bodies except the Strat have sold in the last few days.

Need proper pics of this one (which will hopefully get tomorrow am) but it's VERY nice, you'll have to trust me on that.

It annoyingly has suffered one ding on the lower edge and a tiny, tiny one on the top edge. But... that's the never-ending joy of working with an outdated paint medium like cellulose!

These are up there with the big guys in terms of quality - both the materials and the paint jobs. Pretty much selling for the cost of the paint jobs alone, even less when you consider that some finishers charge £300+ for a high gloss metallic nitrocellulose job like these. These are both brand new, premium alder with vintage correct routing, not cheaper reissue models or seconds from ebay fixed up and sprayed. 

Have just bought a lot of new stock in so would like to make room.

Don't make me have to build an absolutely beautiful 1962 replica Sherwood Green Strat! God, that would be an awful thing to have to do!
