I have a late-40s parlour acoustic and an Antoria lawsuit Strat from April 1977. BUT my favourite guitar was stamped at the Gibson factory 30 years today. It's the Les Paul you can see peeking at the bottom of this pic and it could probably do with a re-fret.

I bought it in the summer of 1993, took it on the first date me and my wife went on in 1994, gigged it 2-3 times a week for over a year and took it to every IGF summer school from 2002-2010.
While my childhood in Liverpool was all about football, the birthday guitar was with me during the times in my adult life that shaped who I am today. Rock n' fucking roll.

Months later, I'd dumped the girlfriend and was chasing some Italian au pair and asked if she wanted to see "my band" who had played our first gig the week before. I took her to a jam night where me and the guitar left her alone for 10 minutes when it was our turn to play, before driving her home.
your guitar is exactly 13 years younger than me :-)
Have you seriously had a guitar since 1993 and the only photo you've got is where it's photobombing a strap photo???
Happy birthday @mikeyrob73 *bumps*

I've got an eBay search set up for 90s LPs (I've got a 95) as I think it's a great era despite what the internet might say. I've had mine 20 years and it's still my main guitar.
