You need a bigger one mate ;-)
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    Recent changes:
    • Visual Sound VS-XO replacing Hardwire CM-2 + Nobels ODR-1
    • Source Audio Nemesis replacing MXR Carbon Copy
The left side of the VS-XO is used for "just breaking up" (with the drive usually set a bit lower than in this photo), the Ramble FX Marvel Drive for a slightly darker crunch and the right side of the VS-XO as a clean boost into either one as needed.  The "Mischief Maker" is a @juansolo Ultrastoner 2.  I'm currently using the Source Audio Programmable EQ as an "inverse boost" (switch it off to raise the volume for fills and lead parts), which seems to work pretty well.

The Source Audio is just lovely - it's hard to get a bad sound out of it, and there are so many good ones I feel like I've barely scratched the surface.
That ultrastoner is amazing, isn't it? Quite like that board.

I think @gassage has just fainted.
I doubt it Raymond- I buy gear that works not that looks pretty and I've known Rob for years...

Hopefully this will post the picture...

Tidied the top and added the Digitech Hardwire Metal.  It doesn't get used with the strat - it permanently sounds like a horrible cocked wah, but with humbuggies it's an awesome box of rock.

Juansolo delay and M5 in the loop - luckily the Peavey seems lower level, they don't clip.

    Chain is phaser - overdrive - Calvin and Hobbes Fuzz Ball - hardwire metal - fx65 - amp - Arnie - M5 - amp.

The boss is used as an expression pedal, for volume, reverb swells, pattern trem changes, whammy, sending a delay into oscillation etc.

The board is a Smorg.  It's a tier 600, early one (first ever?).  It's great, nice and easy to use and seems well built.  The top tier flexes if I put too much weight on it, but it doesn't adversely affect performance.  When my board is settled, I may reinforce it.

Upcomin changes (soon): New PSU that does everything rather than needing a seperate one for the M5, a few more Kabl cables (there are a couple of dodgy home mades there that I don't entirely trust) and finally cable tying everything underneath.  At the moment, I've wired everything up quickly to test the signal chain and see if it's noisy (it's not noisy - bit of hiss on heavy distortion or muff, but nothing unusual).

Upcoming changes (in the distant, distant future!): Eventide H9 instead of line 6 (or a line 6 helix M5 if it ever happens).

I plan to buy a smaller Smorg board for bass - will have a comp, digitech bass synth wah, zoom ultra fuzz and wah.

    My first board!

Guitar into the Mission VM Pro, then along the bottom row and to the Soul Food, then into the amp. Carbon Copy, Flashback and HoF in the loop. Currently all powered by a very basic daisy chain thingy (although it works), but I'd like to get a PP2+ or similar and try running the Carbon Copy at 12V.

Half the pedals and the board itself sourced right here on this lovely forum.

I only play at home so this is a convenience thing really, but it's been fun deciding what goes on and what doesn't, and what goes where.

@sherpa_man Have a 'wow'. Cracking board. How are you using the H9s, for delays/reverbs?

First h9 for delay and verb and 2nd for mods, both run in stereo through my JJ-100 loop.

    Sounds awesome.!

@sherpa_man Cracking. I already have one H9 Max and it's something else. Sounds great in mono as it is, can only imagine what it's like in stereo *drool*

Thicky question : is the loop in the Friedman stereo? Do you have separate speaker outputs or does it all sum to mono at some point?
    Red ones are better.

Sorry I should of made that about more clear. The amp is mono but the effects run in stereo. Hard to explain the difference until you here.

Nice board. Sherpa, I've got a h9 running in stereo. A lot of the presets don't seem to work.. Is this right? Do I have to change something in settings?n

the h9 detects the connected cables and then sends stereo in and out. I found it mostly works on delays.
