Greco EGC800 Custom. Erm. Yep. again.

In my defence, have had this one a few weeks - just haven't posted it.

It's a 1983 Greco EGC800 Custom in transparent red. Solid body, battered and bruised, with the original Screamin bridge pickup and a Duncan 59 in the neck. It's as scruffy as you like and three times as awesome. Lovely neck, hardware with most of the gold worn off and is setup superbly. Fretboard needs a treatment of lemon oil, and it's missing the switch tip,  but other than that am pretty pleased...

Not massively. It's solid, but isn't as ridiculously heavy as my 40th Anniversary or the Tokai Reborn

Hi. Yes - have done a deal on an EGF1200. Won’t be with me until March though!!

Oh now that one is really lovely! 

You've kinda got me interested in these MIJ pieces. 

Recommend / find me a nice MIJ 335/339 and I'll be on full alert!

Hopefully it’s got Dry Z’s as for me the pickups are a big part of it they have that almost alive tone mine are just a hair microphonic but in a very good way not squealy 

will look forward to see to see that one

Am really interested to see what it is like. They are talked about so highly...hope it lives up to the hype!!
