Hi all..
I'm after a Jesse Davey 'Duellist' .........

Have you heard one in person? I was after one too but bought a Hamstead odyssey instead. So far I’m very happy I did. Are you after Srv tone or just TS drive? The odyssey does it and so much more.

@lukedlb it’s the SRV whole Strat thing really.. I’ve never actually had a stand alone TS drive amazingly. Being a dyed in the wool Strat lover I thought it was about time to try one.. The Hampstead is also high in the GAS list though

Same exact story for me. Try as I might I have never got on with Ts pedals. The odyssey helped change that. The clean boost helps with Lenny. The ts setting helps with pride & joy. And does them both as well as any dedicated pedal. And that’s just a part of the odyssey. Duellists are rare and very expensive. A new odyssey is cheaper. 
Paired with a Ryra, wow.

Just order a new one from Jesse and wait a few weeks? The Duellist is the best pedal ever IMHO and well worth the money, not just a TS clone. It is so much more.

You can use the email notification on his website and you´ll get a mail when he has them ready. That´s what I did :-) He only makes very few of them and you have to be fast

Just happy to help with others tone search. It was a close one though 'cos I nearly bought it myself but realised it's not really my thing

I’ll only rave about how good it is then sell it when I realise I’m cheating on my Palmer Distortion...

Ok....I will do a NPD but had a first play with it this morning... bear in mind I’n only a home  player... First impression are that it blows my KOT out of the water for ‘that’ Strat overdriven tone!! I know the KOT excels at gig volume but for me it has to work at lower levels.. The Drive knobs are a thing of beauty and are as smooth as silk... Both sides are mega usable and the eq options are great as I like a bit of treble bite(must be my ageing ears) I sold my KOT pretty quickly after receiving it. Although it was obviously great, it wasn’t £400 worth of great...I only play through a Blackstar HT1R head and 1x12 Tone Tubby Cab so god only knows what it would sound like through a decent amp?

I hate giving ‘Honeymoon period’ reviews but I’m very impressed so far

I've only ever seen demos using strats with thus pedal. All seem to be SRV style players too. Is that the target audience I wonder?

Yes it does seem to be ‘that’ Strat sound... I’ll have to get me a Les Paul and report back
