Up for grabs is a newish ( bought xmas) Starplayer TV Classic spent its young life in its case and I cant justify keeping a guitar of this value now that doesn’t get played...so I’m offering it at £1700.
Not a mark on it anywhere and a decent saving against a new one.

Hi - I don't have a CS relic tele but do have a very collectable (and great playing/sounding) very early JV telecaster.  Fender Japan started making these 52 re-issue teles in April 82 and this one is dated September 82 (and so pre-dates the mid 83 change in decal which moved the 'Made in Japan' designation from the front of the headstock to the back of the neck).  It's the TL'52-65 model - these were made for the domestic market and was clearly the original owner was a guy called Yoshimitsu Takeuchi as evidenced by its factory-customised neck plate.  I have the original pickups and control plate but I had upgraded both - it's currently fitted with replacement lollars and a Callaham Distressed Prewired Tele Control Plate Assembly (3-way / slotted screws).  Any interest?
