Would you post a guitar to Japan, and how much would it cost?

Someone keeps asking me for an ebay listing, and offering to pay

Yep, but payment by bank transfer only. Run a quote through https://www.transglobalexpress.co.uk using UPS.

  • No; second question redundant.

If he keeps asking he's got to have a reason for it that is more for his benefit than yours. Scam warning.
"Working" software has only unobserved bugs. (Parroty Error: Pieces of Nine! Pieces of Nine!)
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself

Yes. Make sure you are paid in advance by bank transfer and use UPS. I've shipped guitars to the USA and Hong Kong without an issue.

Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!

he keeps increasing the postage offered, and I know that this guitar sells for £100-£150 more in Japan than it does here, hence I am not all that suspicious that he is offering £200 postage now
