I used to like chappers before I started reading guitar forums. I think subconsciously from reading various bashing threads I ended up disliking the guy but I've no idea why tbh. I watched that video purely objectively and came away thinking 'that video would have been unwatchable had it not been for Chappers'

Oh yeah also I want that Malcom Young guitar, the cheapie sounded really harsh in comparison but probably nothing a set of TVJ classics couldn't fix.

I don't watch the Chappers vids anymore because he always plays with way more gain than I would ever use.
Not a very useful representation of what stuff really sounds like.

What's to dislike about the guy.......nothing.
He is quite omnipresent and over-exposed to the guitar fraternity that's all
I would imagine he is a jovial and friendly chap.
This degree of exposure somehow irritates people ,that's all,.........it's exactly the same with any TV presenters that suddenly seem to be the Face du Jour of any family viewing / Presenting/ Reality TV/Advertising etc

Maybe the stupidity is the $10,000 replica, not Chappers?

I know Simon's Brother quite well ......SC is actually a very decent bloke; has done a lot of extra-ordinary kind things on the quiet (not part of PR campaigns )......half of what you see is Pantomime Villain act ......his type of commercial music production has spoilt the music scene in some ways but only in the same way that Stock,Aitken etc did and if he hadn't somebody like Simon Fuller would have filled those boots . Kanye West/Puff Diddy or whatever he's called has done far worse .
 There were people who said that about George Martin because his "new" music put the lid on 50s Crooners and Skiffle music
........Times change 
 However,they will never change enough for me to warm to............Gemma Collins !

Keith Richards disposed of the 1st string at times apparently. I don't think I've seen fender sell a tele with just the 5 strings on. That guitar just seems bizarre to me.

Two entirely different guitars played through two different rigs. Why didn't they throw in a Tele with a Bigsby just to compare?
