Been burgled

woke up this morning and I’ve been burgled. Fucking gutted. They’ve had loads of stuff but the really upsetting one is they’ve had 3 of my most treasured guitars. My 2000 Strat, had from new and been round the world with me. My Les Paul which was 2005, my sons year of birth and was to be passed down to him. My Larrivee OM-10 which was my first proper acoustic. Pics below (hopefully as I’m on my phone due to laptop being nicked as well!). Keep your eyes out for me. These hold huge sentimental value. The rest of what’s gone is replaceable but these aren’t.

Cheers everyone. I have stuff to get me through but thanks for the offers of loan gear. Could have been a lot worse. I’m babysitting the band van at the moment and that’s got everything in. Unloaded my stuff to get it ready for this weeks gigging. Should have waited. Good thing is that everyone is ok. 

Have put put it on Facebook and on the groups I know of. It’s public so if you’re on if you could share I’d be very grateful.

There was a spate of overnighters near us a few years back. 

It was a couple of guys in a big van - waiting for lights out and then getting in and half inching what they could carry out. IIRC they did 6 houses in one evening. 

They tried ours - I know this for a fact as they walked up to the front door and the dogs (4 of them) went ballistic. They scarpered in the van and the police reckon that it spooked them - apparently they would probably have done another 6 that night if not. 

Its really not nice and they should be strung up. The polic advice to our neighbours was to get “big loud dogs like they have...”
