Thanks again. Definitely these are for using, a shame some of these oldies don't get out much any more....this one included!

Best of luck with the gigs

    Thanks James.

Be nice it ending up in a good place and you having to sell a St@# to fund it ;) :)

    Hope all good with you.

    Weekend bump.

If it helps anyone I 'may' take a nice part trade but it does need to still have the majority of any deal being in cash, sorry. Something vintage from the usual suspects and/or vintage reissue is my usual preference.

I can't drop the price for a cash sale by thousands but I will listen to sensible cash offers for this as well.

    Ta muchoz as ever,

Not really into that to be honest but appreciate you mentioning it. My disadvantage primarily with this is location I know.

I can offer approval on this as well should anyone be unsure (certain conditions apply etc).

    Thanks

I think your price is actually more than fair, but you still need to find that "right" buyer who is in the market for a guitar of this value...you might struggle without enlisting specialist help, although I understand your reluctance.  Best of luck though, it's a lovely guitar....

Noel Gallagher needs to know about this 345........though he's usually seen with 355's I appreciate. He could no doubt afford this from the petty cash.

Based on trying to sell my ‘64 335 last year, I’d avoid Atoyboy....

Thanks again folks. Honestly all the input gratefully appreciated.

Not wishing to sound a know it all cos I'm most certainly not but I do know or have dealt with most of the UK and some US vintage dealers too. Everyone has to earn a buck so I'm not really wanting to comment on how good or not they can be. Good plumbers bad plumbers etc.

I'd just prefer to keep it simple and do the deal myself. I know this is quite a niche item and might not sell but will see how it goes. I view it really if it stays then so be it but if it goes then I'll have some decent funds to do something else with.

If anyone genuinely keen on this I will do my very best to help make it happen and get the deal over the line.

    Time will tell:)

    Cheers
    Hugh

I’ve always found Andy of angel music a great person to sell vintage gear. He works from home these days (in north London) given the part demolition of Denmark street. I think he helped mr Gallagher sell a bit of gear recently.

Have spoken to Andy a couple of times over the years and whilst never done a deal, he seemed a good guy. Only heard positives about him. Always had/ has decent stock too.

I'll see how I get on and maybe take stock in a month or so if things haven't progressed.

    Thanks

  • Give time, time Hugh

Someone will come in for this, have no fear.

Not that my opinion carries any weight whatsoever, and not to blow smoke up your arse, but you are one of a handful of people in this game that I'd buy off blind.

I too have all but hung the strap up, just a few bits and bobs to get shut of. If the reverse were evident, this guitar would be on a shortlist of 1....and you know what I'm like when I'm chasing...!!

    Be cool Hugh.

    Paul.

I could offer a large bag of hoohaar as part trade along with my splendiferous squire Strat with upgraded tonerider pickups.

Do you a favour and let you post it to me before I send my Strat?

    :)

I posted those links at the same time as my earlier post, I wasn't trying to convince you to use them....seems like they had to be approved by someone which took a few hours......
