Optimistic eBay seller of the day?

Now... the Charvel 750XL looks like a very nice guitar, one of the top-spec Japanese models from the late 80s and early 90s, and its popularity was boosted somewhat by the patronage of shred and jazz-fusion legend Shawn Lane, but when I have seen no MIJ Charvels currently listed on eBay for more than £700, this seems a bit much:

Oh dear. Another lazy seller. Another poor advert with poor photos and an even poorer description. Really gets me interested. Not.

I'm thinking what's with a Charvel 750XL that people think they can command £2 grand for one?

It’s mine & I don’t want to sell it but if I get offered daft money then why not? It’s not doing anything but I’ve got quite an attachment to it from my younger days. 

 I’ve turned down £1500 on it so far from the US and £1400 from Germany as I don’t want to ship it. 

And yes, guilty as charged - not had time to do a decent advert....
