Blimey... I had one.

Once upon a time you used to be able to get the tapes from Tandy... but that's showing my age!!!

I dare say that, with a supply of fresh tape, it would be possible to splice together something that would work in the cartridge.

As usual with these, the cartridge is f*cked. Felt pads knackered, etc, along with the obvious un-spooling loop.

So far (for any interested parties), options re. cartridges appear to be:

*Find S/H or NOS Apollon cart.

*Acquire redundant format media which can be modified to fit (PlayTape or ancient Dictaphone carts).

*Rewind original cart (using NOS C60 tape) or trim current tape and re-splice (either is a royal PITA, according to received wisdom). Pinch roller cleaned and felt/foam pressure pads replaced at the same time.
