I might have to do an acoustic drone track, I don't have an amp that gives a clean enough sound for recording as I need to mic it up.

@antique_guitars I'm quite eager not to breach any copyright or plagiarism laws as per the rules, but when does covering a song or using a similar drum beat cross into plagiarism? My drums are sounding too similar to a certain song at the moment

To be honest given this is an amateur competition, as long as you are not copying something directly then you have nothing to worry about. It is ok if it sounds pretty similar to something else, most things do at some stage anyway.

I started mine today, I originally wanted to do something along the lines of sun(O))) but i couldnt get the guitar sound at low volume so ive ended up with some vaguely indian sounding thing instead. Just need to tweak the drums and lay the bass down.

Yeah I will update everything later, I have just had an ultimate shit day and now I need to try and sell some possessions to pay off some debt
