Marshall 1937 2x12 Bass Cab

A fella down the road is selling a Marshall 1937 Bass cab with G12-65's, I think he said 444 cones.

Is anyone familiar with these old JCM800 cabs? Will those G12-65's work well for guitar?

    Yes. A bit fatter and deeper than the 1777 version, but otherwise very similar - and in fact, might even be preferable for some people.
