I guess that there won't be many interested on here but the old boy is touring next year.  He's at the London Palladium in March - who'd of thought, fifty years ago........ - and a few other dates at very good venus.  Might be his farewell tour as his is touching 80 I think.

I'd love to see him again but he's coming nowhere near the south west. Which is odd when you think about it;  it's where many ageing freaks go to see out their declining years.

I saw him loads in the late 80s and early 90s. Was a bit hit and miss depending on how spliffed up he was but I would love to see him again. 22nd of March in Leeds is close enough to my Birthday for a treat from the missus!

Apologies, I was being flip. I'm in Devon (There's a glitch in the system that adds a location rather than update your existing). If it was Hampshire I'd have no problem on the train. Living in North Devon means a 1hr train just to reach Exeter. I love Roy but not that much.

I'd say come and stay with us for the evening but as we may not be in Bromley by then, it could be us staying in the chaep hotel.......

I believe he was in a court case a few years ago that hit him very hard financially hence he's still touring

Saw him with Nick at the Half Moon in Putney on many an occasion, usually stoned out of his gourd. Always a good little gig though.

I haven’t decided yet whether to go and see him again. Saw him 2 or 3 times, but that was 50 odd years ago back in the late ‘60’s.

They have Made, the movie he made with Carol White, on Amazon pay to view. Might give it a whirl, it must be 20 years since I saw it. Carol White is always very watchable.
