Lick Suggestions

In my never ending quest to pick up as many licks as possible I've reached somewhat of a plateau. Just wondering which guitarist has inspired you the most? (i.e. whos licks have you stolen the most!) and if anyone could direct me to some interesting country/blues players who have a unique playing style that would be great!

It may be worth you trying out licks from different genres, eg metal, ska, rock, funk, prog, hip hop, jazz. In terms of country players, I'd suggest Albert Lee and Brad Paisley for starters and for blues, Gary Moore. I'm sure others will have plenty more suggestions.

Philip Sayce is a monster. Check out his live stuff. I credible player.

Gary Clark Jr plays minor scale based licks...should feel familiar but will give you some ideas

Greg Koch has loads of licks and he has some instructional books with his licks in them too.  

Michael Landau is another one of my favourites.
