Could you please tell me more about the back profile? I'm looking for a V tele neck although I don't think I ever tried one. I did have a MIJ 52 tele with a U shaped neck which was great, and I have a few Navigators with their U shape which is more like a fat C with more shoulder. Does the profile remind you of any previous neck you've played. Does this U shape refer to a certain period Fender necks?

The guy who sold it me said it was a baseball bat. And it's got some shoulder to it but nothing drastic. I've played R8s and R9s bigger. My current tele has a trad C profile 7.5 radius and this is obviously chunkier. Plus with the compound radius it's a lot more user friendly.
