It's the blues. Alcohol before recording is mandatory although it really should be Bourbon instead of vin rouge

When you look at what the electorate have facilitated over the last few years I'm not sure that's a great idea

my entry submitted, sponsored this evening by Glenmorangie.  It's called "Slow dancin with a hot chick."

This time, I mic'd up my live rig instead of using insert fx/IRs.  There's no EQ or any post work, just plain old mic and hit record.  

Is it just me or does everyone else have to do 2000 takes before arriving at something vaguely presentable?

Really enjoyed doing this one, thanks.

Word. 

I hadn't played guitar for about 3 weeks before recording my entry.  I'll just say that my fingers were really hurting by the time I had something to submit. 

The vocals on the other hand were the first take where my kids didn't steal the microphone off me

I don't actually know how many takes I did but it was alot.  I found it sounds best if i turn the speakers up loud, then go into a different room and listen.  What's all that about?!

Yes, we could do that if the RotM entry is long enough. At the moment I've got a punk style track lined up for next month, based on a request from @flying_pie.

Or, how about winner of brotm does a bass line and drums... winner of rotm then does the guitar riffs... winner of sotm widdles away over the top...

I have time this weekend... will get something over... I did make a start on rotm but it was after the sotm and the copious amount of ribena... I am considering submitting it anyway as a warning to others
