Long shot, I know, but I'm looking for 4 machine head ferrules for a Rick 4001/4003.

    I was afraid that you would say that. 

    I had hoped that the metal ferrules from regular Schaller BM 'heads might make an acceptable substitute. Then, I remembered that the Rick string posts are narrower than on the regular BM.

    Yes - Ric ones are way narrower (they are made by Schaller, though).
