RIP Barry Chuckle

What's Hot
The Chuckle Brothers were regular faces on TV when I was growing up.  This is very sad.

Bless him. I worked very briefly with the Chuckle Brothers in Liverpool many years ago. I played a clothes salesman with pony tail and glasses (their choice) in episode 9 from series , "Fashion".

    My scene starts at 11.24

Serious question - was that improvised or scripted?

Rehearsed with impro then filmed. There were a couple of great bits that ended up on the cutting room floor, particularly when the three of us just cracked up laughing at something stupid, twice in a row....wish I could see and share those bits.

    RIP
Didn't find out about this till just now but only last night after playing a gig I picked up the big sub-woofer with the singer and as we tried to get it out the door I've gone,
    "To me..."
and there was just a silence and I remembered he was living in the US back then and not known the only acceptable response is, of course,
    "To you..."

    Aw, bless him!
    :(
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

Watched them a lot when my son was little - told him the news (he’s 16 now) - seemed genuinely sad that a part of his childhood has gone....

Sad news, they were great at what they did. It must be terrible to have your brother gone after a lifetime working together.
