Are you sure you want a 4 string Stingray? You're in the middle of a P bass build, I also thought you were looking at building a 34" scale, SG bass. I'm going to finish the bodies and their necks anyway over the next 7 to 10 days. So much for only building one guitar a week, I have 3 Thunderbird basses to complete next week and 2 Strats.

Are you sure you want a 4 string Stingray? You're in the middle of a P bass build, I also thought you were looking at building a 34" scale, SG bass. I'm going to finish the bodies and their necks anyway over the next 7 to 10 days. So much for only building one guitar a week, I have 3 Thunderbird basses to complete next week and 2 Strats. 

New P bass is nearly built - see thread (!) 

SG bass is an absolute - just need to ensure I can get a pickup for it. 

Mrs B wants me to build a semi-hollow P for her (gawd!) 

I do actually fancy having a Stingray to pick up from time to time...

 Re going mad, I reckon that a situation where your wife thinks she needs you to build her her own bass when there's loads of them already in the house must take genius not madness. There is a lot many of us can learn from this!

 I'll concede that it's a fine line between genius and madness.

Be careful though - if Dawn was encouraging me to up the guitar or keyboard stock I'd be very suspicious as to what was going on - classic distraction technique

Anyone point me in the direction of a decent 5 string bridge suitable for a Stingray?
