Seventy Seven Stork (CR8 Les Paul) Standard - Hand Made in Japan

An All-Original Japanese Handmade Seventy Seven Stork Standard in Excellent Condition, which is essentially a Chambered R8 with it's own Custom Wound PAF Pickups. It has Docs and a Plush Moulded Hardshell Case too and is Professionally Setup by an Ex-Overwater Basses Luthier.

Seventy Seven (Est. 1977) are like the Gibson Memphis Branch of Deviser Guitars (Momose, Bacchus and Headway). I've been told by one of their Dealers that the Branch has just 2 Luthiers and a 6 Month Waiting List, but I haven't contacted them directly to confirm.

The Model was Discontinued around 2015, although Seventy Seven still make the Exrubato Standard (ES-335) and both were/are £1,500 to £1,600, but include the same Pickups as their fancy wood £2K+ Models...

These surpass Tokai's LS-128 offerings, as you can see from the Quality of the Inlays etc.

    Alex Lifeson's Plaintop was the original inspiration for my purchase:

    Thanks Gents - Apologies @PukiBusuk I'm afraid I don't own the Stork Jazz and just wanted to show what Seventy Seven normally make, but I'd be keen to see a pic of your Custom! I've only seen their R6 to R9.

  • @Schnozz no problem on the Stork Jazz, they are hard find, I would love to own one someday soon I hope !
    Regarding my white Stork CTM, I bought it from the guys in the video you posted, they call themselves Kenny JamCrew from Penang, Malaysia.
    Good Luck with the sale on your Stork standard, too bad for me for missing out as I will return to UK summer 2019

    @PukiBusuk - Wow. Must be amazing to have a light Custom and you chose the perfect finish for the Model too. Definitely haven't seen one of those before. Would be nice to pair them up  =)

    It's on my radar as I was totally happy without a Les Paul until everyone got a bargain R8.

    And I just got an AC30 which is almost demanding a Les Paul to go with.

    Thanks @prlgmnr ;

    In the past, the weight put me off keeping a Les Paul - It used to put strain on my shoulder, or keep slipping off my thigh...

    This one does neither, so I can play for two hours standing and it balances.

    ...I play it through a Vox AC30 Amplug :3

    Seeing as my G&L 2HB has been sold pending payment and then fell through x3 times, I'm going to give this one a tentative bump...
