That's a very kind offer but I'm sure if somebody has an acoustic I can play, I'll be ok... none of my song choices require an electric. I'm just used to my own guitar (I string them one string tension lower than most folk). Thanks, though!

@Bridgehouse that's cool but honestly, it'll be ok lol.. If I can't play another guitar after 18 years of playing, I'm a guff guitarist Just hope I can get a loan on the day - I can always play the parts on electric, too. Will just be good to meet up!

Sorry about the whole "England tour" thing - I just realised I wasn't going to have the time to do it properly. It's still a long way for me to come for a jam, but I'm glad to be doing so
--> If there's a particularly good part of Leicester to stay in near things to do I'd appreciate that info (guessing the general answer will be "the centre")   -> No time to mess about, I booked Ibis City Centre for two nights £115.

As someone else mentioned, there’s the King Power Stadium..... woooooooo! Leicester City are playing away on that weekend, so youll have it all to yourself if you go. Jump around to your hearts content.

@thomasross20 - Depends on your preference of hotel, but Leicester Central Travelodge is a short walking distance from Quad and on the edge of the town f@ ;

I can stick an electric something in the car, any preference for Strat or Tele type?

I'm a strategy man but I'd only be  electric if there's some sort of electric jam or asked to - so please don't go to any bother but I appreciate it

Just checking as to the date, as I'm confused - is it the 18th or the 24th ???? The setlist thread has the 18th November. This thread has the 24th.

Would the organisers very kindly please confirm the date, and change the thread titles to avoid any confusion.

Didn't even notice this thread until mentioned in another section.  I'm fairly local to Leicester and could attend with little notice. If you get any cancellations as we approach the date, please keep me in mind.  Would be a good opportunity to meet some people (and see thomasross again - been a while since GASfest 2005!)
