Having a bit of a crisis of tone, and decided to clear out some of the things I'm not using, to put some money towards a new approach.

All of these sounds great to me, but are near duplicates of something else I own, and I can't justify having two things the same. All prices are PPG and include postage.

In terms of trades, good quality preamp / amp in a box type pedal (solid state, digital, or valve), cab sim type things, and maybe some interesting/quirky modulation. I am sorted for tremolo and delay. I am happy to add cash to the deal for the right thing.

Suhr Riot Reloaded £85 £80 (SOLD)
Digitech Ventura Vibe £65 £60 SOLD (on Reverb)
Mad Professor Royal Blue Overdrive (as used by Matt Scofield) £90 £85 (SOLD)
J Rocket .45 Caliber (_nails_ Malcolm Young and Marshall crunch) SOLD (£95)
Bogner Burnley (added) - £90 (SOLD)
One Control Baltic Blue Fuzz (this is BJFE's take on the Muff) £65 £60 £55  (SOLD on Reverb)
Neunaber Immerse (fantastic studio quality reverb pedal -- but can't justifying having two £200 quid reverbs) - TRADED
Vick Audo V-2  £65 - TRADED
Tonefreak Severe - £65 SOLD
Digitech Obscura - £70 (SOLD on Reverb)
Digitech Nautila (Chorus/Flange) - £75 (SOLD on Reverb)
EHX Small Stone Nano Phaser - £30 SOLD (on Reverb)
Boss NS-2 with box - £50 (SOLD on REVERB)

Fuzzdog Phase 45 with univibe mode - £30 (STILL AVAILABLE)

Skreddy Pig Mine -- £115

Fantastic muff-based Gilmour in a box pedal. However I have 4 muff based pedals, and only room for one on the board, so something has to go.

Still open to trades.

Ordinarily, I'd be interested. But, I'm really quite well sorted for classic rock and medium to lower gain sounds.

Where I really lack is in higher gain sounds -- think Wampler Dual Fusion, Bogner Red, etc. I want to be able to get my fusiony/shred playing together.*

So I really need something that can get into really high gain sounds, although more in the liquid lead sense than 'djent' chugging.

Either that or something valvey, or that has IRs to get into a different way of getting sounds.

    * although I'm primarily into jazz and soul/RnB playing, sometimes the urge to just crank the gain and let rip remains ...

I’ve heard some nice demos if it doing fat brital rhythm but not for smooth high gain lead. If it can do that, might be interested.

  • It's all so subjective isn't it! I guess it won't do EVH brown sound etc without a shove from something else which kind of defeats the object

Yeah, trying to get down to maybe two drive pedals (or one dual pedal) and maybe a fuzz or muff. Rather than lots of stacked pedals (as now) that give me low to medium gain tones I like, but don’t get me everything.

BTW, in terms of trades/swaps. High gain pedals, and/or compact or versatile modulation pedals are of interest.

One Control Baltic Blue fuzz still available.

    Suhr Riot sold.

  • Swap the Burnley for a liquid sunshine?
0reaction image LOL 0reaction image Wow! 0reaction image Wisdom
  • @thomasw88 I'm afraid not. Everyone says the Liquid Sunshine is a great pedal, but I already have a couple of other pedals that are in a very similar vein. Sorry.
